Offered for sale are a pair of digital hearing aids, suited for moderate hearing loss. Condition is barely used. The hearing aids are Receiver-In-Canal type. There is a small unit that fits behind the ear. There are no custom molds needed with this style. Insert batteries in the units and you're ready to go. These are Bluetooth enabled. There are two significant benefits of Bluetooth enabled hearing aids:
Hear audio from your phone and other Bluetooth enabled devices:
You can listen and speak on your phone calls on these hearing aids - after, of course, the proper setup on your Bluetooth enabled phone with standard calling service. Let's say a call comes in on your smartphone, or you place a call on your smartphone. You will hear the phone call directly through the hearing aids as if they were earbuds, without needing to hold the phone to your ear.
It's not just phone calls. You can listen to music, hear a YouTube video, or even listen to your television program - assuming you have a device (smartphone, tablet, TV, etc.) that is Bluetooth enabled and you have connected the hearing aids to the device.
Adjust your volume and fine-tune your hearing experience with an app:
Download an app called Thrive to your smartphone. It will allow you to adjust various aspects of how your hearing aids sound and behave. You can even set up different settings - for example, you may prefer a different set of settings for a noisy restaurant, and another set for bird watching, and a standard setting for normal conversation. This is fully self programable so you don't need to visit the doctor to set these up.
Bluetooth is optional!!
If this sounds intimidating, don't worry. Using Bluetooth is optional. It is recommended, however, that you do download the Thrive app to do an initial setup of your hearing settings (at least the volume) and then you're all set.
