Many people have been speculating for some time that Microsoft will someday release a Zune based smartphone device.
Microsoft has added fire to the speculation with the recent release of the new Zune desktop software.
Apparently there is reference to a Phone.Device option in the synchronization portion of the the software.
At this point no one knows if that means Microsoft plans to role out it's own Zune specific phone, or it just planning to allow third party phones to work with Zune, but either way it looks like a mobile Zune phone is in your future.
Of course, as all companies seem to do, Microsoft has officially denied everything.
Am zune phone will be great if we see it sometimes. But maybe Microsoft will do a miracle and they will release something cool :) Hope we see this soon! - by Armando , 05-12-2010, 7:05 AM
