| Low end HTC Android phone on the way?

Rumors are circulating on the mobile wire that HTC is planning to release a low end Android phone dubbed the HTC Click.
The French android fan site Point GPhone claims to have scored a leaked picture of the future HTC Click, shown here. Very little is known about the device, although it is rumored to include 3.5mm audio jack and digital camera on the back of the phone.
 Of course it is too early to say how credible this rumor is, but the design style of the casing and buttons does appear to be consistent with HTC.
One question is if HTC is planning to go in a new direction with replacing the traditional trackball, as the picture shown includes a very different type of navigation pad where one would expect the trackball to be.
Don't get too excited though, as the device shown could just be an early prototype.
