Is the top secret Microsoft Pink project based on Danger OS?

Publish On 01-21-2010 , 2:42 PM

So the folks over at Engadget noticed increased Microsoft twitter chatter from "Danger" based devices, including some references to a top secret project.

It has been rumored for some time that Microsoft has a secret project dubbed Pink in the works, which is supposed to be some kind uniquely shaped tiny mobile smart-phone as shown on the right side. Previously it was speculated that these new devices are supposed to be geared towards non techie people, perhaps to try to challenge iPhone dominance.

Anyways, back to the twitter chatter - if Microsoft is suddenly using Danger OS for some kind of frantic internal testing, perhaps that means the new project pink devices are going to be Sidekick Danger based.

Is Microsoft planning to make Danger OS a major player for their future mobile battle plans? If so.. I sure hope they plan to start introducing some more redundancy on the servers :).

Take a look for yourself at some example tweeting:

2. Well , maybe we will never know something until the release (if) that gadget. After Microsoft release it we have to wait for a few bug fixes in the software :D and then we can see something that is fully done.
